Kundalini Yoga with Sue Beck Retuta
Kundalini Yoga is a technology based on an understanding of the ecology of the human body that employs hand positions (Mudra), breath (Pranayam), sound (Mantra), posture (Asana), movement, and meditation to invite optimal physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance within the yoga practitioner. Experience deep opening and rejuvenation in this practice based on the teaching of Judith Hanson Lasater. Restorative Yoga is a profound practice that balances the energies in the body and brings us back to center.

Come learn about your energy field with Keellia. You will learn basic methods to sense your own amazing energy, experience working on a partner’s energy field and some energy medicine to use on bumps and bruises.

Radiant and Powerful for Fall: A yoga and Ayurveda workshop with Katie Silcox
Fall Detox Methods for Becoming Your Most Powerful and Radiant Self

Katie will lead a detox Vinyasa-based flow class, followed by an interactive workshop on gentle fall cleansing methods based on an Ayurvedic perspective. The class will answer the questions, “What are the benefits of doing a fall cleanse?" "What is an Ayurvedic cleanse, and how is it different from other, more rigorous methods?" The workshop will also provide an overview of the Ayurvedic perspective of health, Ayurvedic cleansing, oleation (self oil massage), ama (toxins) formation, the elements in cleansing, cleanse protocols, asana, as well as an overview of a week's cleanse that you can practice at home. Katie will teach us how to custom design our own cleanse for our body/mind type.All recipes for the cleanse mono-diet will be provided (kichadi, ghee, greens, vegetables, and digestive teas). This workshop will empower you with the tools your need to be successful in re-balancing your body and mind for a dynamic, powerful fall season.

Katie Silcox was recently named one of San Francisco’s “Best Yoga Teachers Under 30” by Common Ground Magazine. She is a senior student of Yogarupa Rod Stryker, one of the world’s pre-eminent yoga and meditation teachers as well as an Ayurvedic Wellness Educator and Bliss Therapies Practitioner under the internationally-renowned California College of Ayurveda.
